A 14th-century thatched barn, two more restored barns and a 17th-century farmhouse on the Deeley family's working farm in Launton, near Bicester. Exclusive-use weddings seat 150 and take 200 or more in the evening, and the farmhouse and Shepherd's Hut sleep 16.

A garden path links Tythe directly with St Mary's, the 12th-century church next door. The venue reckons couples can be toasting their marriage less than three minutes after leaving the altar.

Tythe sits on Manor Farm in Launton, which the Deeley family have worked for more than 500 years. Will and Emma Deeley converted their first lambing barn in 1998. It is now an exclusive-use estate of three restored barns, a 17th-century farmhouse, a Shepherd's Hut and gardens, ten minutes from junction 9 of the M40.

The Thatched Barn dates from the 14th century and has about 2,500 square feet of space. It is licensed for ceremonies of up to 150, seats 150 at long tables for dinner and holds 200 or more in the evening. There is a 12-foot bar, a Bose sound system and a projector.

The Cowshed and The Hovel have floor-to-ceiling glazing, a wood burner, three flame-effect fires and a built-in pizza oven. The Cowshed takes 120 for drinks and The Hovel suits small meetings of eight. The Nook, two rooms with an en suite and kitchenette, is the getting-ready space, and the newer Lodge sits among silver birches.

The Farmhouse has seven double en suite bedrooms, including a Honeymoon Suite with a Champagne bar and a Groom's Suite with a pool table. It sleeps 14, plus two in the Shepherd's Hut, and comes with a tennis court and a wood-fired hot tub.

Food is by in-house caterer Absolute Taste, and there is a no-fee corkage option for the wedding breakfast. Parties run until midnight. The car park takes 75 cars, and there is space to land a helicopter.

Barbecues are cooked on a converted sheep feeder. The estate has planted more than 1,000 trees in the last decade, and apples from its orchard go into the Apple Sour cocktail.
