Restored 1898 brick cattle shelter on Highland Court Farm near Canterbury, with a modern glasshouse, courtyard and fruit orchards. Hired exclusively for weddings of up to 140 seated and 240 evening guests, plus corporate events and Christmas parties.

The Night Yard was built in 1898 as a brick cattle shelter on Highland Court Farm, about ten minutes from Canterbury. It has since been restored, and a glasshouse and grass courtyard have been added.

Woodland and fruit orchards surround the yard, and the farm is still working. Couples can take photos among the apple trees, while guests stay in the courtyard and gardens.

The Glasshouse is the main room, with oak floors, festoon lighting and dimmable bespoke lights. Its floor-to-ceiling doors open onto the countryside, and it seats 140 for dinner.

Evening numbers rise to 240. The Gallery, the Snug and a vintage chill-out corner give guests somewhere quieter to sit.

A rustic bar inside the old brick shelter is fully stocked and staffed all day and night. Drinks bought elsewhere cannot be brought in.

Catering comes from a shortlist of hand-picked caterers. As a guide, three courses start around £42 a head and a hog roast around £20.

The old piggery is now a getting-ready suite with mirrors, styling chairs and a lounge. Parking takes 80 cars, and coaches and double-deckers can reach the farm.

Everything is on one level, with a disabled WC and accessible parking near the entrance. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Hirers may move any of the furniture on site except Bertie, the venue's vintage tractor.
