Ridgeview Wine Estate

About the venue

A pioneer of English sparkling wine at Ditchling Common, served at royal State Banquets. Celebrate in private pavilions beside the Chardonnay vines, or take exclusive use of The Rows & Vine restaurant for up to 150 guests.

For more than 25 years Ridgeview has been producing world-class sparkling wine in Sussex, planting its vineyards when many believed English wine simply couldn't be done. Its wines have been served to Barack Obama at a Buckingham Palace State Banquet and at King Charles' first State Banquet, and it was the UK Government's most-poured sparkling wine in 2024.

Private events make the most of the estate's breath-taking setting. Group bookings, private pavilions beside the Chardonnay vines seating up to 30 each, and full exclusive use of The Rows & Vine restaurant for up to 150 guests in spring and summer offer something for every celebration.

The Rows & Vine pairs seasonal plates with award-winning sparkling wines and views across the vineyards and the South Downs, with a cosy new dining space for winter. The Ridgeview Wine Bar & Shop, set within the working winery and overlooking the vines, is a relaxed spot for a glass.

Corporate hospitality, relaxed tours and tutored tastings round out an estate made for life's celebrations.
