Family-owned Georgian manor of 1795 near Basingstoke, with Jane Austen links, 315 acres and 50 bedrooms. Eight spaces hold ceremonies, including an oak-framed Woodland Pavilion for 160. The Garden Pavilion seats 350 and has its own kitchen for dry hire, and conferences go up to 400.

Oakley Hall keeps its own beehives, and company groups can try beekeeping and honey tasting between meetings. The Georgian house was built in 1795 and has links to Jane Austen, who lived in nearby Steventon. It was later a boarding school, then a wedding and conference venue. A £4 million restoration in 2014 turned it into the family-owned hotel that runs it today.

The estate covers 315 acres of North Hampshire countryside outside Basingstoke. The house is Grade II listed and has eight spaces licensed for civil ceremonies, including Jewish ceremonies and blessings. The oak-beamed Woodland Pavilion outside holds 160. The Garden Pavilion, added in 2018, seats 350 for dinner and has its own kitchen, so outside caterers can work there on dry-hire weddings. Couples can also take the whole house for exclusive use.

Meetings are a big part of the year. Rooms take between 13 and 400 delegates, and the Garden Pavilion holds 400 theatre-style with its own lighting and PA. Day delegate rates include the room, a projector and screen, a flipchart and Wi-Fi. Activity partners run inflatable courses, Crystal Maze and human duck herding on the lawns.

The 50 bedrooms include two four-poster suites on the top floor and a three-bedroom Garden Cottage on the rear lawns. Dogs can stay in the Courtyard rooms. The Glasshouse Restaurant was renovated in 2020 and cooks seasonal, locally sourced food, and the 1795 Bar & Lounge is next door. Spa treatments are arranged through Wylder Wellbeing, a day spa about ten minutes away. Heathrow and Southampton airports are both about 45 minutes' drive.
