About the venue

Grade II listed 1880 barns on the Jenkin family's farm near Worthing. Ceremonies for 130 in the licensed Cartshed or under an oak arch outdoors, receptions for 130 seated and 200 standing in the Granary, plus parties, Christmas nights and corporate events.

In the Cartshed at Long Furlong Barn, the old grain pit is still visible. The Jenkin family kept it when they restored their 1880 barns, which were built in the tradition of a medieval tithe barn and are now Grade II listed. Four generations of the family have farmed the surrounding land since 1912, between Chichester and Brighton and ten minutes from Worthing.

The Cartshed, once used to store threshed grain, is now the licensed ceremony room. It seats 130 under fairy lights and is heated and air-conditioned. Outdoors, The Furlong View is an oak ceremony arch completed in 2019, looking out across open fields. Receptions move to the Granary, a former threshing barn that seats 130 for dinner and holds 200 in the evening, with the bar and dance floor in the same room.

Full-day hire includes exclusive use from 10am, the Courtyard Bridal Suite and the converted Studio. A decor package of fairy lights, lanterns and log slices comes as standard. Couples choose from a list of trusted caterers. Twilight weddings, ceremony-only hire and evening parties are cheaper options. The courtyard has an oak barrel bar and olive trees, and the lawns now have a Sunset bar.

The venue has welcomed more than 25,000 guests. It also hosts parties, Christmas nights, corporate events and wakes, and the two-bedroom Farmer's Lodge sleeps newlyweds or a small group.
