400-acre country club near Chertsey with a Victorian Manor House, two championship golf courses plus The Manor, a HealthSpa and 66 bedrooms. Weddings use the Orangery for 45, the Library for 100 and the Clubhouse for 180, and nine meeting rooms take conferences.

Charles James Fox, who once bet the Prince Regent on how many cats they would see on Bond Street, came to live in this corner of Surrey in the 1780s. The land around his house, then called Fox's Hill, is now Foxhills, a 400-acre country club near Chertsey. The Hayton family has owned it since 1983.

The Manor House was designed by the architect Basevi, a cousin of Disraeli and a pupil of Sir John Soane, for the lawyer and MP John Ivatt-Briscoe. In the Second World War the farm, now the Bernard Hunt course, was given over to Dig for Victory. The estate opened as a golf club in 1975.

Golfers have two championship courses, Longcross and Bernard Hunt, and The Manor for a more relaxed round. The 66 bedrooms and suites are spread across the estate. There are also five swimming pools, the HealthSpa and courts for tennis, padel and pickleball. Lomri, the newest restaurant, opened in 2026 and pairs British cooking with the flavours of India's spice ports.

Events use nine meeting rooms and the Clubhouse, which overlooks the shared 18th green of the two championship courses. Beehives in the woods produce Foxhills honey, and trim trails loop the estate. Heathrow is 20 minutes away, and the M3 and M25 are close by.
