Tucked away in the West Sussex countryside at Lower Beeding, yet only ten minutes from the M23 and Horsham station, 35 minutes from Brighton and 75 minutes from London, Brookfield Barn is a stunning lakeside venue surrounded by 22 acres of luscious grounds and panoramic views. Every space is exclusively yours for the day and designed to flow between inside and out, with the picturesque, tree-fringed lake and rolling countryside at the heart of each part of your celebration.

Ceremonies can be held outdoors in a secluded space enclosed by lush hedgerows, opening out to a beautiful pergola against the lake, or inside the traditional oak-beamed barn, with large picture windows and a wall that opens out to the view, both for up to 138 guests. Drinks follow in the rich, sophisticated Lounge & Bar or out on the Terrace, with Champagne, a Prosecco bar or your own cocktail station. The Barn then seats 138 for the wedding breakfast with views over the lake, before evening celebrations for up to 200 spread across the Lounge & Bar, Terrace and Barn, with a spacious dance floor, a dedicated space for your DJ or band, an onsite photo booth for £200 and the Outdoor Kitchen firing up beneath the stars.

The menus are à la carte rather than packages, organised into spring, summer, autumn and winter and built around the freshest British produce, with sharing boards served as a family-style feast, wood-fired pizzas made fresh in front of guests and vibrant street food cooked outdoors in oversized woks and pans. The team are industry leaders in allergen awareness, with a menu entirely free from all 14 regulated allergens, and seasonal Chef's Table tasting evenings help couples shape their menu. For photographs there is a rustic swing, a golf buggy and a hidden treehouse in the grounds.

On the morning, both partners have their own space to get ready: Lakeview, a light-filled preparation suite overlooking the water with hair and makeup stations, a dressing room with floor-to-ceiling mirrors, a self-serve bar, a shower and a lakeside terrace, and The Lodge, a rustic retreat with a faux fireplace and a retro vinyl record player. Overnight, 11 bedrooms, including the Aylesbury Suite that serves as the honeymoon suite with views of the lake, sleep up to 23 adults and five children, followed by continental breakfast in the Breakfast Room. The venue is wheelchair accessible with a lift and an accessible bedroom, dog-friendly, and offers parking and EV chargers.

Standard venue hire for 2026 to 2028 ranges from £3,425 for a winter Monday to Wednesday to £8,150 for a summer Saturday, the whole house costs from £2,070 per night including breakfast, the honeymoon suite is free when all rooms are booked within two months of booking, and evening-only receptions are available from £1,500 within the next six months. As a member of the Artemis Venue Collection, Brookfield Barn also hosts conferences, networking events, away days, private meetings, team-building activities and company summer and Christmas parties, as well as family celebrations and large-scale private parties.
