The royal racecourse at Ascot, backed by twelve monarchs over more than 300 years, hires out more than 300 spaces on its 170-acre Berkshire site. Rooms hold between 18 and 3,000 people. There are licensed suites for weddings, private boxes for meetings and lawns for summer parties.

Ascot's Grandstand has hosted the Historics classic car auction since 2017. One four-day sale drew more than 1,800 people, and 149 of its 186 cars sold for a total of £4.6 million.

That gives a sense of the scale here. The racecourse has more than 300 spaces for hire across a 170-acre site in Berkshire, holding between 18 and 3,000 people. The smallest are private boxes overlooking the track. The largest is the Grandstand's atrium, with outdoor hardstanding and lawns beyond.

Ascot calls itself the royal racecourse, and twelve monarchs have been its patrons over more than 300 years. Royal Ascot is still one of the big dates in the British sporting and social calendar, and the same catering team runs the venue's private events. That team trades as 1711 by Ascot.

Several suites are licensed for weddings and civil partnerships, including the Pavilion Suite and the ON 5 restaurant. The weddings team regularly plans Asian weddings, helping with engagement parties, food tastings and the traditional ceremonies held over several days.

Business events make up much of the calendar. Conferences run with full AV support. The site also takes trade fairs and recruitment fairs, as well as fashion shows and product launches.

In summer the lawns take parties with afternoon tea, picnics, street food or barbecues. At Christmas the Royal Enclosure Lodge is available for private parties, alongside shared party nights in the Grandstand.

The events team works with approved suppliers for décor, flowers, entertainment and photography, and can recommend hotels nearby.
